Nintendo is releasing the Wii U GamePad Accessory Set for those owners who want to keep their GamePad in mint condition.
The set, which retails for $12.99, includes a screen protector, cleaning cloth, and an extra-sized stylus.
The Accessory Set hits stores on February 4.

According Computer&VideoGames.com and to yet another Wii U release date rumour, Nintendo’s new console will be out in US on November 11 for a base price of $249.99.
The source is a supposed listing on the login-assess-only site of VPD – Video Product Distributors, who has Amazon among its distribution clients.
Interestingly, the listing snapshot (pictured, via GoNintendo), shows three release SKUs priced at $249.99, $299.99 and $349.99.
Could Nintendo be offering gamers the option to bundle more than one Gamepad controller with higher-priced Wii U packages? We hope so.
This isn’t the first time the console’s been tipped for a November launch. Gaming accessory maker PDP apparently leaked a November 18 North American release date for the Wii U during a GameStop managers’ conference, where they were detailing upcoming products, but has since moved to curb the spreading rumour, calling it ‘a misunderstanding’.
Predictably, Nintendo is blocking its ears and humming loudly in response to the barrage of Wii U release rumours.
Nintendo will host a Wii U-focused press event in New York City on September 13, at which a US Wii U release date announcement is expected.
What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? Last week Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced Injustice: Gods Among Us, an all-new game in development by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, creators of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat. The game is scheduled for release in 2013 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the Wii U system from Nintendo.
Injustice: Gods Among Us, debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale.
Martin Tremblay, President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment had this to say about “Injustice: Gods Among Us …
With Injustice: Gods Among Us, we are creating an all-new franchise with incredible battles set in the DC Comics Universe. NetherRealm Studios is the extremely talented team behind the latest Mortal Kombat hit and it is developing a game unlike any other in the fighting genre. We are both proud and extremely excited to see where Injustice will take us, but for now it has gathered the response we hoped we were looking for.

Our partners at ElectricSproket.net are at E3 this year, and teaming up with them has been nothing short of spectacular. With the E3 news hitting their site as much as its hitting ours, we were given permission to rerelease it, and here is what they had to say:
Today at E3 2012 just before the event started, the third installment of Dead Space was announced by Visceral Games. I can’t tell you how much I am anticipating this release of this game. So at E3 I had to check out the demo at Activision’s booth.
Dead Space 3 continues the story following Isaac Clark. Visceral continues to use the same recipe that made the previous games a hit. The weapons, enemy’s and now more open environments. They have allowed for more exploration of deep space and planetary surfaces but have included a new element that’s different from the past installments. They have added a co-op mode that can jump in and out of the game as you see fit. The new character is Carver and with him you can drop in or drop out at any time during the game to help through the campaign. In Dead Space 3 you just might need some help from Carver. Now that isn’t completely necessary, if you’re a fan of the previous games and you like the creepy dark game play you can do just that without the co-op element. If you decide to go co-op there will be added story line to fill in why the Necromorphs are important to Carver’s character including al new story content, why he’s along for the ride, new character development, and new missions. There will also be new collectables as well. Visceral have added some new Necromorph enemies like the Feeder and some epic bosses to defeat. So you just might need some help from Carver for that.

G4 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive hands-on preview reminded them that Valve’s classic FPS game is almost 13 years old. Can you believe it? You’ll be able to properly celebrate this addictive Half-Life mod’s entrance into teenage years with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which G4’s Leah Jackson got to play at E3 2012:
“For our demo we played a casual 5v5 match on the classic de_dust map on the Counter-Terrorist side. There will be 16 total maps when the game launches, eight classic maps and eight brand new ones. If you’re not familiar with Counter-Strike, on defusal type maps like de_dust it’s up to the Counter-Terrorists to either kill all of the Terrorists before they can plant a bomb, or to defuse the bomb before time runs out. Communication is key in CS: GO, so you know where your enemies are, which site the bomb’s heading to, and who’s going to defuse the bomb if you make it there.”
