Whether you’re an iPhone fan, an Android fan, a Windows Phone fan or a BlackBerry fan, everyone can likely agree that Apple’s iPhone 6 will be the biggest smartphone launch of the year and this could be our first look at the completely redesigned iPhone 6.
Following the leak of a purported case mold that third-party protective case designers might use to get an early jump on building cases for Apple’s next iPhone, a Japanese blog posted what it claimed to be schematics for both of Apple’s next-generation iPhones that were printed by a magazine in Japan. According to the leak, those devices included an iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch display and a larger iPhone phablet with a 5.7-inch screen.
Of note, earlier reports from several solid sources suggested that Apple’s new phablet will feature a 5.5-inch screen.

LAS VEGAS — You know how it goes — you’re camping and there’s nowhere to charge your phone. Or maybe you’re a university student who needs to plug in a laptop during class but you’re too far away from an outlet on the wall. And let’s not even get started with the airport, where outlets are almost always in use.
To put a plug in your pocket, portable power company Lilliputian launched at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show on Sunday a device called the Nectar, which can keep electronics running for about two weeks. Unlike typical backup batteries, it never needs to be plugged into a wall outlet. Plus, it eliminates the need to lug around cables and power adapters. Hello, business travelers.
The $299 device — which will be sold exclusively at Brookstone starting in the summer — works with any device with a USB 2.0 (this means anything from a tablet and smartphone to digital cameras and Bluetooth headsets). But for the device to work, users must insert a Nectar power charge cardtridge ($10 each). When the power runs out, it can be tossed in a recycling bin and a new cartridge is needed. Although this is a setback — who wants to keep replenishing a cartridge stash — the overall concept trumps the setback.
In addition, the Nectar spokesperson said it will charge devices for about two weeks based on a typical charging session (about one hour to reach 100% power) one time each day, so the supply isn’t unlimited during that time. But even still, this is a device we want with us on our next camping trip. Or next year at CES.

Our partners at ElectricSproket.net are at E3 this year, and teaming up with them has been nothing short of spectacular. With the E3 news hitting their site as much as its hitting ours, we were given permission to rerelease it, and here is what they had to say:
Today I had the chance to play a short part of the new Harry Potter for Kinect. I have to say it was a little more fun than I had anticipated. The section of the game that I demoed involved Harry running down a bridge while being chased. While moving across the bridge it was falling apart due to being on fire. As debris fell, it landed in ways that you need to either move around it, jump over it or duck under it. At times you had to turn around to cast spells at your pursuers. So as I played I ducked, jumped, moved left and right and swung my hand in the air as if casting spells from my make-believe wand in order to complete the level. Had it not been for the Kinect I would definitely not played this game. The Kinect made it fun and it will be needed to market this title, but the experience is what counted.
