Frankly, if this doesn’t get you in the mood to buy and play an Xbox 1, we don’t know what will…
It’s More a Fun On An Xbox1 – You Decide For Yourself
Nananananana BATMAN! Biff! Pow! Krak! Ok enough of that. That’s right gamers/comic fans, Warner Bros. Studios has announced another sequel to the Batman: Arkham series… Or is it a prequel? It is called Batman: Arkham Origins and it is slated to be released October 25th….wait for it…. Wait for it….. THIS YEAR!
This time around Warner Bros. Studios will be developing the game in house instead of Rocksteady Studios who developed the previous games. However, Warner Bros. Studios will be using A LOT of the same that Rocksteady used so the look of the game won’t be changed drastically. They will even use the same Unreal engine. The designer for The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and Prototype, Eric Holmes, will be leading this project.
Not too much is known about the game yet, but one of the villains in the game has been said to be none other than Deathstroke! Now that’s going to be awesome! More than likely the game mechanics probably won’t change too much, why mess with perfection? However Warner Bros. Studios may add some more to it to make this game even better (if that’s possible)!
Stay tuned to ‘Bat’-Clockworx Gaming! Let the CWG Team what you wish to be involved in this new Bat-game!
Many of you have probably already have been playing Tomb Raider, so me saying that this game is absolutely epic, will probably make you say, “DUH”!!! But I’ll say it anyway, THIS GAME IS ABSOLUTELY EPIC!!
The most obvious is that the graphics on the game are truly beautiful. From the character designs to the environment to the subtle details of animals in the wild and the fire lighting effects. One can tell that the designers took time and placed A LOT of effort into making things look right and flow so that there is nothing to pull you out of the game’s story.
You want content in your stories?! Tomb Raider has it in spades. The character development for our beloved Lara Croft is gripping, intense and keeps you wanting to know more. Not just about her but what she can do and learn to do next.
The game mechanics are very intuitive. Even though the game will have hints to inform you on how to perform certain moves, it always felt natural. The switch from treasure hunting to focus more on surviving is a nice touch as well. When you are treasure hunting it is very useful as the ‘salvage’ times you find can be used to upgrade your tools and weapons.
The cinematic camera view I feel really makes the game keep you interested. There are other subtle details to the game that enhance the gameplay too, such as there really isn’t a health bar so if you’re getting injured, you better fire back or get out of the way quickly. Lara also acts intuitively, for example when enemies are near by she will crouch on her own or automatically put out the torch if you have one lit.
I feel this game could definitely be a candidate for game of the year. However we have yet to see The Last Of Us by developer Naughty Dog or Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs. Those may prove to be big time competition.

Edge Reports on New Xbox: No Used Games, Internet Required
Edge is reporting new details on the next Xbox system.
The biggest news about the new console: internet is required to play with the system and used games will be blocked.
Games will be purchased with one-time-use activation codes, meaning the sole person who uses the code first is the only person who can play the game on their console.
While the console’s experience now fully lies with internet compatibility, physical games will still be available. Games will now be on blu-ray format for the next Microsoft console, meaning 50 gigs of space for games now.
The console holds AMD eight-core x64 1.6GHz CPU, a D3D11.x 800MHz graphics solution and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. The console will also ship with a newer version of the Kinect.
