YouTube Video: How To Fix Xbox 1 Headset (Mic), DLC, & Kinect Command Issues
Booommmmm, ElectricSproket and ClockworxGaming taking apart a PS3 Slim, due to the disc not reading.
Topically we wouldn’t post on things such as this, but we wanted to get the word out about the “How To” of things to save you all money in the long run. That is, should you ever run into this problem.
When our partner, ElectricSproket came to us, asking us for Sony’s 411 to send a PS3 Slim they had purchased back to them, we could only ask why? ElecteicSproket told us that the PS3 was not reading discs and there for needed to be sent back, so Sony could fix it. We asked, why would you send it in when you can D.I.Y. With that said, ElectricSproket asked us for our help in doing just that. We gave them the direction they needed to go and the parts they needed to get, and soon after, ElecteicSproket was gaming once more.
After only an hour of figuring out where screws were at, the tear down, the disassemble of the reader, and the entire put back together of it all, we are happy to say that another PS3, lives again.
