Nananananana BATMAN! Biff! Pow! Krak! Ok enough of that. That’s right gamers/comic fans, Warner Bros. Studios has announced another sequel to the Batman: Arkham series… Or is it a prequel? It is called Batman: Arkham Origins and it is slated to be released October 25th….wait for it…. Wait for it….. THIS YEAR!
This time around Warner Bros. Studios will be developing the game in house instead of Rocksteady Studios who developed the previous games. However, Warner Bros. Studios will be using A LOT of the same that Rocksteady used so the look of the game won’t be changed drastically. They will even use the same Unreal engine. The designer for The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and Prototype, Eric Holmes, will be leading this project.
Not too much is known about the game yet, but one of the villains in the game has been said to be none other than Deathstroke! Now that’s going to be awesome! More than likely the game mechanics probably won’t change too much, why mess with perfection? However Warner Bros. Studios may add some more to it to make this game even better (if that’s possible)!

According to Sefton Hill, Arkham City’s director, there are still a handful of easter eggs that haven’t been discovered.
The game came out over half a year ago, and Hill is saying that there are still 3-4 secrets that haven’t been uncovered yet. In the Internet age, video game secret are typically uncovered in a matter of hours, so to hear that there are still secrets more than a half a year after the game’s release is surprising.
Hill revealed the secrets (or didn’t depending on how you look at it) at an IGN hosted panel in London’s Kapow! Comic Con. Hill said, “Some of [the secrets] we put in there that were really obscure were found within a week. We didn’t think anyone would ever solve [the Scarecrow Code], but it only took people two days. But there are still 3 or 4 things that people haven’t seen – some of them very subtle things. There’s one that we had right in one of the first demos that we did that nobody has found – it’s in there if you look hard enough.”
It sounds like as a good an excuse as any to jump back in to Arkham City to me. If you’re not into uncovering secrets, you can wait until the end of the month to play more Batman when the Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC will release.

The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of id’s post-apocalyptic shooter RAGE and Epic’s @#$% third-person shooter Bulletstorm are on sale at Best Buy for $19.99 this week – a fair deal, to be sure. But the March issue of Best Buy’s @Gamer Magazine (pictured) also happens to have $15 off coupon for both games inside. That means you can grab each shooter for just five bucks a piece – if they’re still in-stock!
Other coupon deals form the March issue:
Batman: Arkham City (360, PS3) – $10 after coupon
Mass Effect 2 (360, PS3) – $5 after coupon
Final Fantasy XIII-2 – $45 after coupon
$10 off any used game priced $19.99 or higher (Left 4 Dead 2 on Xbox 360 for $10!)
Note that the price on RAGE, Batman: AC, Mass Effect 2, and Bulletstorm is so low because each title is on sale this week. Your store will need to have the title in-stock, but Best Buy has removed new copies of these titles from their online database so you have to check in-person.
You also need to present the appropriate coupon from the March @Gamer issue (with Spec Ops: The Line on the cover). This could involve buying the magazine itself, though I’ve always done well just opening the store’s copy of the magazine to the coupon page and presenting that. Good luck, bargain hunters!
